A Dignified Celebration of National Youth Day at M. A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College, Palanpur

National Youth Day, marking the birth anniversary of the great visionary Swami Vivekananda, was celebrated with enthusiasm and dignity at M. A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College, managed by the Banaskantha District Kelavani Mandal. The programme was organised with the objective of inspiring students and nurturing their intellectual and moral strength.On this occasion, a special knowledge-based quiz competition was organised to encourage students’ intellectual development. The planning and successful execution of the entire programme were carried out under the guidance of Dr. Nirav Kansara and Prof. Kuldeep Joshi, faculty members of the college.The programme was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Rameshkumar B. Patel, who interacted with the students through an inspiring and energetic address. Emphasising the potential of Indian youth, he stated that if Indian youth resolve with determination, nothing in the world is impossible. He highlighted the vital role of youth in nation-building and shared his thoughts on what an ideal Indian youth should be like. He stressed that today’s youth should not only be educated, but also cultured, principled, and deeply devoted to the nation. His powerful words infused a renewed sense of motivation among the students.The quiz competition that followed witnessed an engaging contest of knowledge and reasoning among various teams. All participants performed commendably. However, demonstrating exceptional command over questions related to Indian culture and history, the Veer Savarkar Team emerged as the winner of the competition.In the concluding session, the Principal and the organisers presented encouraging prizes to the winning Veer Savarkar Team and other participants. The programme proved to be informative, inspiring, and memorable for the students.
