An
educational tour was organized for the students of the Psychology Department at
M. A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College, Palanpur, run by Banaskantha District
Education Board. In which a visit was made to the Sahyog Kushta Yagya Trust.
Where about 1000 patients suffering from mental diseases such as mental
retardation, depression, schizophrenia, as well as diseases like blood
disorders, HIV, and social problems are taking shelter, the students received
information about their daily life, activities, and how they are treated. Also,
Subhash Bhai, an employee of the trust, provided guidance to the students about
happiness and success and how to stay physically, mentally, and spiritually
healthy. After that, the students visited Tirupati Rishivan Adventure Park.
This entire program was organized by Psychology Professor Shravan Kumar
Kharanni and Dr. Sharadbhai Jani under the guidance of the College Principal
Shri Dr. Ramesh Kumar B. Patel.
