An awareness session on POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace), Gender Sensitivity, and Cyber Security was organised today, 7 March 2026, by M. A. Parikh Fine Arts & Arts College, Palanpur in association with the National Commission for Women, in collaboration with Yuvamanthan, under the initiative “Campus Calling.” The programme aimed to promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment within academic and professional spaces.A total of 55 students participated in the session along with five faculty members. A detailed presentation on cyber security was shown to the students to create awareness about online safety and responsible digital practices. An elocution competition on the theme of POSH was also conducted, where students shared their views on workplace dignity, rights, and gender sensitivity. At the conclusion of the programme, students took a pledge affirming their commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment.As part of the initiative, the college selected five Campus Ambassadors who will take the lead in promoting POSH and social awareness activities across the campus.The entire programme was conducted by Prof. Bhavik Goswami under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Rameshkumar B. Patel.
