A programme of CPR Training and a Blood Donation Camp was organised on 08 December 2025 at M. A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College, Palanpur, managed by the Banaskantha District Kelavani Mandal. The event was conducted jointly by the NSS Unit and the Indian Red Cross Society, Banaskantha.Around 175 students participated in the CPR training.Shri Pavanbhai Prajapati, Disaster Manger, Banaskantha, conducted the training, explained the importance of CPR, its usefulness in daily life, and how it can help save the lives of family members and others. Through demonstrations, he guided the volunteers in a very simple and practical manner.After the training session, Shri Girishbhai Jaganiya, Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Banaskantha District, addressed the students on the significance of blood donation and explained how “blood donation is the greatest donation” and how it becomes a lifeline for people in need. About 15 volunteers donated blood during the camp. All blood donors were honoured with attractive gifts and certificates.Maheshbhai Patel of BCA College and other staff members of the college also participated in the programme. The entire event was organised under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. R. B. Patel, and coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Dr. Ganpatbhai Chaudhary and Dr. Khushbuben Chaudhary.
