Department of English Organizes an Online Guest Lecture on Thirukkural

The Department of English successfully organized an online guest lecture titled "Timeless Wisdom for Modern Life: Exploring the Teachings of Thirukkural" on September 14, 2024. The guest lecture was delivered by the distinguished scholar, Mr. Rosario Ilamaran, who captivated the audience with his insightful exploration of the timeless ethical teachings of the Thirukkural and their relevance to today’s world. The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from students and faculty members alike, as Mr. Ilamaran's engaging presentation highlighted the enduring significance of the Thirukkural in both personal and professional life. The discussion emphasized how its universal themes of virtue, wealth, and love transcend time and remain applicable across cultures and generations. The program was meticulously managed by Prof. Bhavik Goswami and Prof. Harsh Desai of the Department of English, under the esteemed guidance of Principal Dr. Rameshbhai B. Patel.
