Impressive Performance by Fine Arts Students at the 36th “Kalpavriksha” Youth Festival

The 36th “Kalpavriksha” Youth Festival was organised at Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. Students from the Arts Department, Fine Arts (Painting) Department, and Music Department of M. A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College, Palanpur, managed by the Banaskantha District Kelavani Mandal, actively participated in various competitions at this youth festival.The students took part in several events such as debate, elocution, quiz, and drama. In the Fine Arts section, Parmar Akash Kumar secured first place in both on-the-spot painting and poster making competitions, while Panchal Yogesh Anil won first place in the cartooning competition.From the Music Department, the Indian Group Song team comprising Deepika Joshi, Thakor Rutu, Barot Khushali, Solanki Saroja, Barot Jay, and Kunvariya Jatin delivered an excellent performance and secured second place. In the Western Group Song competition, Goswami Mitesh, Kunvariya Jatin, Thakor Yash, Deepika Joshi, Thakor Rutu, and Barot Khushali achieved second place through their impressive singing. In the Classical Instrumental Solo Percussion event, Darji Vishwas secured second position and brought honour to the college.This remarkable achievement was made possible through the guidance of Narendra Bhai Patel and Baishakhi Patel from the Painting Department, and Rajat Bhai Mehta from the Music Department, along with the encouragement of the Principal, Dr. Rameshbhai B. Patel. On this occasion, the Principal and faculty members of the college congratulated all the winning students, their teachers, and the Youth Festival team managers Dr. Ashutosh Mahaskar and Prof. Rajatbhai Mehta, and extended their best wishes for future success.
