Outstanding Performance of Fine Arts College in the 35th Inter-College Youth Festival

The 35th Youth Festival, hosted by Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, on March 5-6, 2025, saw an outstanding performance by the students of M.A. Parikh Fine Arts College, Palanpur, under the guidance of faculty members from the Drama, Painting, and Music departments. The college secured the Champion title by winning in eight different competitions. In the Fine Arts – Painting Department, Rathod Bhaveshkumar Prakashbhai secured second place in On-the-Spot Painting, Panchal Yogesh Anil won first place in Collage Making and Cartooning, Parmar Akashkumar Jashvantbhai secured third place in Poster Making, and Prajapati Jaykumar Pravinbhai won first place in Clay Modeling. In the Music Department, Prajapati Urvashi Maheshbhai won first place in Western Vocal Solo, while the Indian Group Song Competition team (Prajapati Urvashi, Hani Rana, Deepika Joshi, Thakor Ritu, Payal Solanki, and Barot Khushali) secured first place, and the Western Group Song Competition team (Deepika Joshi, Mitesh Goswami, Yash Thakor, Jatin Kunvaria, Barot Khushali, and Hani Rana) secured second place. With this achievement, the college received the Champion trophy, prizes, and certificates. On behalf of the institution, Prof. Dr. Ashutosh Mahaskar (Drama Department), Prof. Narendra Patel and Prof. Baishakhi Patel (Painting Department), Prof. Rajat Mehta (Music Department), and Principal Dr. Rameshkumar Patel appreciated the students’ success, while other faculty members congratulated the winners and extended their best wishes.
