A Thalassemia Test
Camp was successfully organized at for Semester 2 students
on January 9, 2025. The initiative aimed to raise awareness and facilitate
early detection of Thalassemia, a hereditary blood
disorder.The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 120 students,
highlighting the growing awareness of health-related concerns among youth. The
camp not only provided students with a free Thalassemia screening
but also educated them on the importance of early diagnosis and
prevention. Experts at the camp explained the significance of
Thalassemia testing before marriage to prevent its transmission to the next
generation.The entire program was efficiently conducted by Prof.
Shravankumar Kharani and Dr. Ganpatbhai Chaudhary
from the NSS Department, under the guidance of the
college principal, Dr. Rameshbhai B. Patel. |
