Unique Tribute by NSS Volunteers on Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti

As part of the "Swachhta hi Seva Abhiyan" (Cleanliness is Service Campaign), on October 2, 2024, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, NSS volunteers from M.A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College visited "Balaram" near Palanpur and organized a cleanliness drive.

During the Shravan month, a large number of tourists visit this place and thousands of people come here to immerse Ganesh idols. Due to these tourists, plastic and other types of waste were scattered all around. 35 NSS volunteers cleaned the entire Balaram temple and the surrounding area, paying a unique tribute to Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji. Activities such as creating cleanliness rangoli, cleaning the ghats, roads, and temple were carried out. This entire program was conducted under the leadership of our college principal, Dr. R.B. Patel, and the entire cleanliness program was organized by NSS Program officer Shravan Kumar Kharani and college professor Dr. Sharad Bhai Jani.
