With the objective of bringing out the hidden talents of students and promoting their overall development, a well-organised two-day programme of competitions was conducted recently at M. A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College, Palanpur. The programme, held on 19 and 20 February 2026, included a range of creative activities for students. Artistic competitions such as rangoli, mehendi, and on-the-spot drawing enabled students to express their creativity through colours and lines. In addition, students showcased their culinary skills in fireless cooking and salad decoration competitions.To enhance intellectual and literary abilities, competitions such as essay writing, extempore speech, poetry recitation, and quiz were also organised. As part of environmental awareness initiatives, students enthusiastically participated in the “Best out of Waste” competition.The entire programme was organised under the motivating guidance of the college Principal, Dr. R. B. Patel. The successful planning and coordination of the event were carried out with dedication by the Cultural Stream Conveners, Dr. Ashokkumar Suthar and Prof. Vandanaben Rajgor. The college family extended congratulations to all the students who emerged as winners in the competitions.
