On 28/09/2024, Department of History of M. A. Parikh Fine Arts & Arts College, Palanpur, as a part of extra-curricular activity showed the film "Third Battle of Panipat" to the students. It's aim was to create interest in history and understanding the history systematically among the students. After screening a question answer session was also organised to discuss the confusions of the students regarding it.
The History Department of N.P. Patel Arts and S.A. Patel Commerce College organized a Historical Archives and Documentary Exhibition. Students from the History Department of M.A. Parikh Fine Arts & Arts College, managed by the Banas Kantha District Kelavani Mandal, attended this event.
During the program, students were introduced to historical documents and books. The keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Jitendra V. Shah, who brought several documentary evidences, which were also displayed in the exhibition. Mr. Shah provided students with valuable insights into the history of Gujarat and archives. He patiently explained each document displayed in the exhibition.
Through this event, college students gained exposure to various historical books and documents. The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Rameshbhai B. Patel, the Principal of M.A. Parikh Fine Arts & Arts College. Faculty members from the History Department, Prof. Khushbuben Chaudhary and Prof. Vandanaben Rajgor, were also present at the event along with the students.
