The M.A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College in Palanpur, managed by the Banaskantha District Education Board, organized an expert lecture on "The Importance of Psychology in Modern Times" under the Psychology Department. The program began with a relevant address by the college's Principal, Dr. Rameshbhai Patel, who informed the students about current mental health issues. Following this, the guest speaker, Principal Dr. D.S. Charan from K.K. Shah Arts and L.B. Gunzariya Commerce College, Thara, educated the students on how psychology will be beneficial for them in the future, how to cope with problems, and the increasing anxiety among individuals due to technology. He also discussed the practical applications of psychology. The entire program was coordinated by Pr. Shravan Kharani, the head of the Psychology Department, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rameshbhai Patel, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sharadbhai Jani, a faculty member of the Psychology Department.
International World Braille Day is celebrated by the United Nations from January 4, 2018. This day is also the birthday of Louis Braille, the inventor of the Braille script. This day is celebrated to explain the importance of Braille to the people of the world. On this day, awareness is spread across the world about the importance of Braille in communication. Student of Psychology Department and English Department Palanpur of M. A. Parikh Fine Arts and Arts College visited Mamata Mandir on January 4, 2025. The purpose of this visit was to create awareness among the students regarding the difficulties faced by blinds people. In which, the students were informed by visiting different departments like Dark room, Braille script room, how to identify vital things by touch etc. This program was conducted by Prof. Shravanbhai Kharani and Dr. Sharadbhai Jani of Psychology Department under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rameshbhai B. Patel
