Visit of Mamata Mandir on World Braille Day

World Braille Day is celebrated by the United Nations on January 4. This day is also birthday of Louis Braille, the inventor of the Braille script and to explain the importance of Braille to the people of the world. On this day, awareness is spread across the world regarding the importance of Braille in communication. Student of Psychology Department and English Department visited Mamata Mandir on January 4, 2025. The purpose of this visit was to create awareness among the students regarding the difficulties faced by blind people. During this visit, the students were informed by visiting different departments like Dark Room, Braille Script Room, how to identify vital things by touch etc.
