M. A. Parikh Fine Arts & Arts College, Palanpur, affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, established its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in the year 2007 with the objective of promoting sustained academic excellence and institutional development through systematic quality enhancement practices. The IQAC functions as the central coordinating body responsible for planning, monitoring, and implementing quality-related initiatives across academic, administrative, and co-curricular domains.
The Cell works towards developing a culture of continuous improvement by establishing quality benchmarks, encouraging innovative teaching-learning practices, strengthening research orientation, and ensuring effective governance through transparency and documentation. By integrating institutional processes with national quality parameters, the IQAC plays a significant role in preparing the institution for assessment by agencies such as NAAC and other regulatory bodies.
The IQAC acts as a dynamic platform that promotes collaboration among faculty, administration, students, alumni, and external stakeholders, thereby ensuring holistic institutional growth aligned with evolving educational standards.

To nurture a quality-driven academic environment that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and artistic excellence while fostering continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and institutional practices.
The IQAC develops and operationalizes structured quality benchmarks for academic, administrative, and support services to ensure systematic functioning across institutional processes. These benchmarks enable outcome-based planning, continuous monitoring, and alignment with national quality frameworks.
The IQAC facilitates the creation of a learner-focused academic environment that encourages innovation, critical thinking, and participatory learning. It supports the adoption of contemporary pedagogical practices, ICT-enabled teaching, and interdisciplinary approaches to enhance academic effectiveness and student engagement.
The IQAC designs and monitors comprehensive feedback systems involving students, faculty, alumni, and stakeholders. Analytical review of feedback supports evidence-based decision-making, corrective action planning, and continuous improvement in institutional performance.
The IQAC coordinates seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes, and academic interactions aimed at strengthening institutional capacity. These initiatives promote professional growth, research orientation, and awareness of emerging trends in higher education.
The IQAC ensures systematic documentation of institutional activities, achievements, and best practices through structured record management systems. Proper documentation enhances transparency, accountability, and readiness for accreditation and quality assessment processes.
The IQAC identifies innovative practices developed within departments and promotes their institutional adoption. Continuous evaluation ensures that successful initiatives contribute to long-term quality enhancement and institutional identity.
The IQAC develops and maintains comprehensive institutional databases through structured data collection and analysis. Data-driven insights support strategic planning, policy formulation, and informed governance decisions.
The IQAC compiles institutional quality initiatives, achievements, and outcomes into the AQAR in accordance with prescribed guidelines. The report serves as a reflective document guiding future planning and demonstrating institutional progress.
The IQAC promotes a culture of quality consciousness by integrating regular monitoring, collaborative participation, and reflective practices into institutional functioning. This approach ensures that quality enhancement remains a continuous and sustainable process.
